Prayer Tracker computes the five daily prayer times on your iPhone, points you to the qibla, and keeps count of the prayers you still owe.

What the app does
Prayers
Today's five prayer times, computed on your phone with the calculation method you choose. Mark each prayer as you pray it; the current prayer shows how much of its time is left.
Qibla
A compass that points to the Kaaba from wherever you are, with the phone flat or upright, a calibration prompt when the compass needs one, and a Control Center button that opens it.
Qada
When a prayer's time ends and it was not marked, the app adds it to what you owe for that prayer. Mark it later and the count goes back down. Log each prayer you make up with one tap.
Settings
Calculation method, Asr madhab, high-latitude rule, per-prayer adjustments, Hijri adjustment, reminders, and the widgets and Dynamic Island.
Prayer times, computed on the device
Five calculation methods: Muslim World League, ISNA, Egyptian General Authority, Umm al-Qura and University of Islamic Sciences, Karachi. The app suggests one for your region; you can change it at any time.
Shafiʿi or Hanafi Asr. Three high-latitude rules for summers where twilight never fully ends. Each prayer can be shifted by up to ±30 minutes to match your mosque's timetable.
12-hour or 24-hour times. Hijri date with a ±2-day adjustment for the month announced where you live.
If your city came from your location, it travels with you: open the app more than 20 km away and the prayer times move to where you are. A city you picked by hand is never changed without asking.
Reminders
On iOS 26 or later each prayer can have two reminders, each at its own time: an alarm, which rings even when the phone is on silent or in a Focus, and a notification. Turn on either or both. On iOS 18–25 every reminder is a time-sensitive notification.
Remind at the prayer time, a set number of minutes before the window ends, or at an exact time. Snooze for 10 minutes. An evening summary lists the prayers you have not marked.
Widgets, Apple Watch and Siri
- Home Screen widgets: Next prayer (small) and Today's prayers (medium), each with a button to mark the current prayer.
- Lock Screen widget: Prayer countdown.
- Live Activity: the running prayer with a Mark button, on the Lock Screen and, on iPhones that have one, in the Dynamic Island (Settings → Widgets & Siri → "Prayer at the Dynamic Island").
- Control Center: a Qibla button that opens the compass.
- Apple Watch: an app that comes with the iPhone app — today's prayers on your wrist, a tap to mark one, and complications for the watch face.
- Siri and Shortcuts: "Next prayer in Prayer Tracker", "How long until Maghrib in Prayer Tracker", "Mark Asr in Prayer Tracker".
Missed prayers and fasts
Counting starts the moment you finish setup — nothing earlier is counted, though setup lets you enter what you already owe. The Qada tab is a calendar: a past day is red if a prayer was missed and green if all five were marked; from today on, a gold day is a planned fast or a day of Ramadan you are fasting. Prayed on time but forgot to mark it? Tap the red day and check off that prayer. Made it up later? Log it under "Prayers to make up" instead: two buttons above the calendar, "Prayers to make up" and "Fasts owed", show the totals, and the first opens the count for each prayer, where a round check mark logs one prayer made up, with five seconds to undo.
Once a year the app asks whether you are fasting this Ramadan; if you answer no, you can change it during Ramadan. "Fasts owed" counts the fasts you still have to make up; tap today or a later day outside Ramadan on the calendar to plan one, and on that day the app tells you when suhoor ends and asks at iftar whether you completed the fast.
Private by design
No accounts. No ads. No tracking. Prayer times are computed on your iPhone. Your prayer marks, qada and settings stay on your devices and, if iCloud backup is on, in your own iCloud account. We never see which prayers you performed or what you owe.
To learn what to improve, the app sends us usage statistics, such as which setup screens people reach. In the EU, the EEA, the UK, Switzerland and Albania it asks first and sends nothing unless you allow it; elsewhere you can switch them off in Settings → Backup & data, or under "Privacy & data" on the subscription screen.
Price
7-day free trial, then a subscription. The current price is shown in the app. Renews automatically until canceled. Cancel any time in Settings.
A computation, not a ruling
Prayer times and qibla direction are calculated astronomically on your device using the calculation method you select. This is a computation, not a religious ruling. The app does not replace your local mosque, imam, or religious authority. Calculated values may differ from local practice, particularly at high latitudes and around daylight saving transitions. Use the per-prayer ±minute adjustment to match your local schedule.
